14,300 Drivers In Lagos Are Partially Blind

According to the Lagos State Drivers’ Institute, LASDRI, which has trained about 65,000 drivers, has said 22 percent of the drivers trained, approximately, 14,300 are suffering from eye defects, such as myopia and have been referred to ophthalmologists for corrective measure.

According to them, they decided to start training drivers after research showed that 75 percent of auto crashes were due to human errors.
